Miss Kelly Robinson
Kelly first set foot onto the studio floor at SDC 15 years ago at the age of 5 and has been hooked ever since. A budding performer from a young age Kelly has taken part in many village productions and pantomimes with the Barlby and Osgodby Players. She has completed all major examinations in Ballet, Tap and Modern, performed in 12 annual shows, countless cabarets and even in a touring circus’ production of ‘Aladdin,’ under Miss Hargreaves and Miss Gemma’s guidance. At the age of 14 Kelly began assisting Miss. H with nursery and beginners classes on Saturday mornings, this is where her passion for teaching first started to blossom. 4 years later she decided to move on the next step and become a teacher; naturally she elected to take her diploma in Tap, her favourite of the disciplines. Kelly then teamed up with Miss Heather to create Razzle Dazzle; a dance team for pupils that desire to dance more and really ‘razzle dazzle’ us! Now at the age of 20, Kelly plans to save up over the next couple of years in order to allow her to become a full time auditionee, in the hope of landing a professional dance role! Miss Robinson has successfully gained a place at Renaissance Arts, Leeds where she will begin further tuition in her favourite field. We are very excited that she is still able to teach for us and pass on her knowledge to others.
